About Planning and Zoning
Our Acting Planning Director, Noah Taylor is responsible for all aspects of land use planning. Along with his support personnel they administer all grant programs offered by the Town and represent the Town on numerous advisory boards.
Additionally, the Planning Department acts as the liaison between the Planning Board/Board of Adjustment and the Board of Aldermen.
Other duties include:
- Issuing Zoning, Sign and Development Permits
- Issuing Certificates of Zoning Compliance
- Floodplain Development
- Subdivision Administration
- Rezoning Inquiries
- Text Amendment Inquiries
- Economic Development Programs
- Code Enforcement
- Maintenance of the Code of Ordinances
Our Planning Department is open Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00pm. Please use our contact page to set up an appointment with our planning staff or for general inquiries.
